After Ella Cruz, It's Anne Curtis Twerking On It's Showtime

Less than a week after dance princess Ella Cruz turned up the heat on It's Showtime, another twerker attempted to do the same today.

This time it was none other than Binibining Annebisyosa herself, Anne Curtis. It was reportedly the first time that the big TV star twerked, which meant we watched history in the making earlier today, August 17. Unlike Maja and Ella though, Anne didn't shake her rump to the tune of "Twerk It Like Miley," and instead chose to twerk it to Redfoo's "New Thang."

About the, erm, historic TV moment, Anne had this to say: "First time ko (mag-twerk). Akala ko nga hindi ko na ito gagawin eh. Pero hindi ba laban lang para sa ekonomiya."

And for ratings too, perhaps? Rival noontime show Eat Bulaga and its phenom of a segment, "AlDub," is definitely putting the pressure on It's Showtime to keep dropping bombs.
