All through summer,
Mayumi Yokoyama spent her time putting in the work, jumping from one project to another. From crowded car shows to getting sun-kissed at
Boracay Grind, this pretty
chinita seems to have an unlimited source of energy that allows her to smile all day and share the
#goodvibes even to total strangers. She's essentially a cross between the Energizer Bunny and
Jinri Park.
But that's just one summer. Mayumi is busy ALL the time.
She's been in casinos. “Before entering modeling, I used to work in an online casino but not as a dealer," Mayumi (or Yumi as she likes to be called) tells us. “We act as the
entertainment part of the game, so we sing, we dance during game breaks."
She's dabbled in the BPO businesses ("I was a call center agent once!") and she's someone you might have once met at your favorite coffee house before ("I used to work as a barista too.") Soon, she'll be more visible as she's been handpicked by Pony shoes to become their brand ambassador this year.
At 23 years young, she's worn many hats. Why though? Yumi tells us: "It just so happened that I was waiting to have my Japanese citizenship approved. Because of that, I temporarily stopped coming to school. I got bored because I was left with nothing to do, kaya I decided to try out some jobs muna. It's also nice because I get to experience a lot and meet tons of different people." Along with that, Yumi reveals a favorite job perk of hers that belies her wonderful figure: free food. "From chocolates to hopia!I’d be happy if you give me a cheeseburger!" she quips.
Today though she takes on a job that we're sure you'll all be screaming yes for as this cute
chinita is
FHM's #NewCrush this June 2015. All month long, the Japanese beauty will be your cutest, curviest online companion in this part of the online world—a fitting pick given that
another part-Japanese beautyis currently headlining our June issue.
But enough talk! It's time to get to know more about Yumi via the FHM Slumbook:
